Tis the Season

Today is the day when I create gifts for the schools. Its something I do every year. (I DO have the best jobs!) As I work on the presents I can’t help but think about each of the secretaries, principals and other staff that help us so much during the year. Each one gives of themselves to help make this world a better place for the students.

I’m humbled as I think about their contributions. They make a difference each and every day. They listen. They counsel. They care.

Isn’t that what we should all do? Every day? As the season unfolds and kindness envelopes your corner of the world embrace the feelings that it brings. Then keep the joy and happiness going. Care about one another three hundred and sixty-five days a year.

It is always the season to love one another. Make the universe a place where everyone feels compassion and joy. Do it for your family. Do it for your friends. Do it for strangers.
